Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Wow! This was one of the best Halloweens ever! I think because it fell on a Saturday most people felt they could stay up late, knowing they didn't have to work the next day. I for one, slept in. ahhh.

I entered a pumpkin carving contest on Friday and I won! I put it out on the porch last night and now I don't know where it is. In the night, some one took it! I didn't get a picture of it and I am kicking myself. It was a owl. Set against the moon. Oh well, next year I will take a picture before I set it out. You live and learn. We had our first Halloween light parade downtown and a cute dog costume contest.

Now, I do have pictures of my Headless Horseman. Due to complication beyond my control I couldn't get it finished until late last night. Finally at last here he is.

He's 16 1/2 inches tall x12 inches long x 5 1/2 inches wide. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, or wish to see more pictures, you can email mail me at leahsartmagic@yahoo.com.

Hello, everyone!

Well today is Tuesday the 13TH of October and I am sorry I haven't been able to post the winner's of my giveaway until now. My son is sick and he's in college. Is seems this awful flu has taken a hold of a lot of students and teachers all across this country. To all of  those poor sick people, I hope you get well soon. My dear husband is holding down the fort, and he was nice enough to draw the winners for me this afternoon. So ...... the winners are...... Marie S. wins the ornaments and Janell Berryman the Mummy! Please e-mail me  your address so I may send you your winnings! Thank you everyone for entering my giveaway!!! The Happiest of Halloween wishes to all!

We have a winner!

The winner of my giveaway piece in the EHAG Wandering Witch Search is .....drum roll please! Tara Colna! Congratulations Tara! Your Witch "Gathering Pumpkins" will be flying over to your house soon! Please let me know when she arrives. I need to know she made it safe and sound. As an artist you put a little bit of yourself into your creations and you have a bond with them, at least I do. :) So....it makes me feel better to know they are OK and they arrive unscathed. Thank you for participating in the Wandering Witch Search everyone!
