Hello, Yes I am back. I have been recovering from pneumonia. Being sick during the summer is not fun.

I am working on an up coming challenge piece for EHAG's August, "Harvest Moon Howl". I am using a different type of air dry clay, called DAS. I thought I would see how it works. So far I like it. This is a WIP. I will be attaching this moon to a wooden canvas and then I will paint it.

I have also been working on a folk art doll. Most dolls are very labor intensive. She will be great when I finish painting and dressing her.

Harry Potter Film

Merlin's beard! That was a fantastic film! "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince", was a treat for all ages! I was surprised to see that most of the people in the theater we attended were 18 years old or older. We did go to the 8:30 pm showing though. I won't tell anything about the film in case you haven't seen it. Even though they condense it down considerably from the book, which I know they have to do, I think they did a wonderful job! This is a must see film!

So.......The excitement ........builds......and once again the wizarding world comes to life on the big screen! Dark secrets are revealed. I'm excited along with a world full of fans. I've bought my ticket already and wait in anticipation!

Ok! a Peek inside!

As promised a peek inside! This use to be a picture frame. I was having a block on as what to do with the inside, side pieces, then I came up with the ghosts. They give it a vintage feel and I also wanted the inside to be fun. Glittered background doesn't show up in the photos too well. In person it really livens up the inside!
