Hello, Yes I am back. I have been recovering from pneumonia. Being sick during the summer is not fun.

I am working on an up coming challenge piece for EHAG's August, "Harvest Moon Howl". I am using a different type of air dry clay, called DAS. I thought I would see how it works. So far I like it. This is a WIP. I will be attaching this moon to a wooden canvas and then I will paint it.

I have also been working on a folk art doll. Most dolls are very labor intensive. She will be great when I finish painting and dressing her.

Hi Pam glad you are finally feeling better. Let me know when you are ready to start walking again. Of course we will have to go early as to beat this horrible heat. Thanks again for taking me to the movie. Remember Saturday night we have play tickets hope you are still able to go.

Hi Doreen,
Thanks for the complement on my doll. I have been researching about clothing and hair styles for her. I like some of the 17TH and 18TH century styles, but wow that's a lot of frills. I'm not that good at sewing. I think I'll be keeping it simple. :)
I wanted to read your blog but I have to be invited. ;)
Thanks for stopping by.
