Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Wow! This was one of the best Halloweens ever! I think because it fell on a Saturday most people felt they could stay up late, knowing they didn't have to work the next day. I for one, slept in. ahhh.

I entered a pumpkin carving contest on Friday and I won! I put it out on the porch last night and now I don't know where it is. In the night, some one took it! I didn't get a picture of it and I am kicking myself. It was a owl. Set against the moon. Oh well, next year I will take a picture before I set it out. You live and learn. We had our first Halloween light parade downtown and a cute dog costume contest.

Now, I do have pictures of my Headless Horseman. Due to complication beyond my control I couldn't get it finished until late last night. Finally at last here he is.

He's 16 1/2 inches tall x12 inches long x 5 1/2 inches wide. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, or wish to see more pictures, you can email mail me at

Thanks, Robert! Yes, I had a great Halloween and it's the first time I ran out of candy!

Thank you Jen! I have been working on this, off an on for quite a few months. Your paintings have inspired me.
